Dra. Milena Castro brings a unique blend of clinical and environmental research experience. As founder of Mandarina Labs and lecturer at the University of Costa Rica, she specializes in protocol development, biostatistics, and data interpretation. Milena believes in the power of observation and the natural world as sources of creativity and healing, guiding her mission to make science accessible and transformative.

Dr. Rodrigo Mora brings to Mandarina Labs his extensive expertise in cancer biology, systems biology, and bioinformatics. As Scientific Advisor and Research Concept Architect, he guides the conceptual development of innovative research initiatives, ensuring scientific rigor and integration of cutting-edge methodologies. His leadership supports our mission to ground data analysis in biological understanding, particularly in projects involving complex disease mechanisms, personalized medicine, and advanced data modeling. MSc. David López – Actuarian & Data Strategist
David López adds precision and depth to the Mandarina Labs ecosystem. David is a seasoned statistician with over 20 years of experience handling large-scale, complex datasets for international organizations. At Mandarina Labs, he leads our Actuarial Science and Predictive Modeling services, bringing robust expertise in risk quantification and financial modeling.

He holds a Master’s degree in Actuarial Science and has specialized training in Machine Learning with Python, which enhances his ability to design and implement advanced predictive systems.
